Information we collect
We may receive information you choose to provide, such as your email address when you contact us or join a future product list. We may also collect basic technical information needed to keep the site secure and reliable.
How we use information
We use information to respond to requests, provide and improve DeepBrief, communicate about the service, and protect our systems. We do not sell personal information.
Third parties
We may use service providers for hosting, analytics, communications, and infrastructure. Those providers may process information only to provide services to DeepBrief and under appropriate safeguards.
Your choices
You may contact us to ask about, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you, subject to applicable law.
Delete your DeepBrief account
To delete your account in the app, sign in, open Profile, choose Delete account, and confirm.
If you cannot access the app, email privacy@deepbrief.news with the subject “Delete my DeepBrief account” and include the email address used for your account.
Deleting your account removes your Firebase Authentication account and account data, including saved stories, followed topics, reading history, story follows, and personalization data. Shared news stories and editorial content are not tied to your account and are not deleted.
Account data is deleted from our active systems when the request is processed. Limited security logs or backups may be retained only for the period required by applicable law or security operations.
